This means mindless chanting. There is no thought, but rather repetitive chanting with no meaning. Talk with Yah. He desires a relationship with you. Talk to him respectfully as your good father, not a slave master.
This is a good example of works without faith. The inverse of faith without works would be failing to pray and talk with Yahweh. And instead believing He "knows your heart". ...indeed He does!!
